Dr Risner and her team are AMAZING. Incredibly kind and sweet people. They rushed me in to have a new nexplanon placed before my insurance expired, I was petrified! Dr Risner was super understanding of this process and even had her nurse, Brittany, hold my hand. They talked me through the whole thing and didn’t make me feel bad once. I am truly grateful for this care team.
This doctor without even knowing what is wrong with me, wanted to put me on birth control and an SSRI. I had to argue with her in order to get her to do a blood test, to find out what was actually wrong. She even said to me that the blood test is going to come back normal and then I would be disappointed. Which made me feel unsupported and like this Doctor lacked complete and utter empathy. Dr. Risner is an incredible doctor, I just started seeing her and I can not recommend her enough. I have been dealing with some health related issues for years. I had been repeatedly telling my former OBGYN that something was not right, it took Dr. Risner no time to try to get to the bottom of what's going on and to order & run the necessary tests. She made me feel comfortable and she made me feel heard for the first time in a long time.
I've been coming to Dr. Cole got years now and she delivered my baby back in 2015! She's a sweet and caring doctor and makes you feel at ease no matter what. I drive 45 mins to continue to see her regularly
