I've had chronic health issues that have caused me to be passed from doctor to doctor. When I first made an appointment with Dr. Reed from a recommendation from one of my specialists, I assumed she would spend 5 minutes with me and fill out info on the computer. I was blown away when she sat down with a pencil and pad of paper and asked me questions for an hour about my symptoms and drawing connections between them all. She has been great to work with and I am so thankful for her care.
I injured my back and needed an MRI, a diagnosis and treatment. Once the MRI was done, Reed - an internist - read the MRI and made a diagnosis - which she is unqualified to do. When I asked to be seen by a specialist and know what my options were (Dr. Reed said I should have cortisone shots and then "wait and see" ) they refused. I am not sure why she didn't honor my request, listen to me, or have a qualified health professional read the MRI in the first place. It will be my last visit here.
