I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with her and her team. Top notch! She is thorough and patient centric. She guided me through every step of the process, and she was spot on. Sometimes Doctors can be very robotic in nature, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But when you have a doctor who is fantastic at what they do AND can relate to the patient in a way that makes you feel comfortable and confident in them, that's a home run. I am so glad I chose her as my surgeon.
Dr. Wanamaker is a true patient advocate. She works to provide patients with the best care using advanced techniques to lessen pain and risk. Thank you!
Doctor Wanamaker is the best! She is genuinely kind and caring, she saved my life! I arrived at Baystate Hospital via medivac helicopter. Lucky for me Doctor Wanamaker was the surgeon on call. I was Scheduled to go into a CABGx3 Open Heart Tripple Bypass Surgery. (I was Scared to Death) And this Women Appeared and told me "I am your Surgeon" and "Do Noy be Scared that I do this all the time and you Will Be OK" It was such a Comfort (something in her eyes and I knew that I was going to make it and my fear went away.
