I am very happy to call Dr. Kelly Burghard my primary Doctor. I have had a couple of experiences in the past that made me hesitant to visit a health professional regularly. Dr. Kelly is very professional and pleasant to visit. I now attend all physicals and followups like I should because I found the right doctor.
Dr. Burghard is great with my mom
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Burghard. It is actually a wonder to me that she is even practicing medicine, a field which is founded on compassion for people and forming a rapport with patients to deliver effective care. In my entire life, I have never been told by a physician and her staff (particularly a primary care physician, let alone a specialist) that she is unable to call her patients personally to explain the results of labs/tests that she orders, not even abnormal test results. I highly recommend Dr Burghard and have been very happy with her care. She has not rushed me through any of the appointments I've had with her (quite typical of doctors these days). She was caring and professional, and she also called me personally to discuss a test result and treatment options.
