I wish it could be zero. I was scheduled for surgery and my neurotologist picked Dr Scrantz. He came in to the appointment with big neurosurgeon energy. I asked him a question and he said I don't know, I'm a brain surgeon all I care about is your brain. In this day and age we should be able to expect expertise and skill along with caring. Then I had a second opinion with Dr Neff at the Mayo clinic in Rochester Minnesota. Dr Neff answered my question before I even asked it. I heard nothing but praise about Dr Scrantz who was supposed to be “the best” Possibly that has gone to his head. I wish I had read these reviews first because I refused to have surgery for over 35 years but after going to my chiropractor for adjustment I couldn’t walk and she referred me to BROC who’s PA said I needed hip replacement. I didn’t realize that my hip problem was caused by my back but went to Dr Scrantz and didn’t think I had a choice but to have back surgery.
