We hired Paul Kelly to take care of our newly landscaped backyard. He showed up two times. And then completely ghosted us. He came by for an initial appointment and put down some fertilizer on our plants. He showed up a second time to put down a pre-emergent herbicide. He billed us, and my wife paid him promptly. After that, we never saw him again. I tried to contact him numerous times with no result. I know he was really busy at the time, but all he had to do was communicate with us.
