Love working as a substitute teacher for Kelly Education through the partnership they have with Hillsborough County Public Schools. You get to choose the schools you want to work at, the grade levels you want to teach, and the days you want to work! Very flexible if you have another full-time job somewhere else. Not a great place to work. Does not support the people who work for them. If there is a problem or concern the people at Kelly Eduvation in Tampa believe anything they are told by the school and treat the substitute like trash. Do not trust the people at Kelly Education in Tampa.
Be careful if you sign on with Kelly Education and want to actually get work in Hillsborough county. The company employs so many people and the jobs are posted via an app to everyone who has the app. It’s like a reaction time game to click the job posting to get assigned. 3 seconds reaction time may be too slow.
I worked with Kelly from 2022 to 2025 my review is solely based on the schools and students in my district, if it were just a review of the schools and students I’d give 5 stars they were amazing EXCEPT for principal Keisha Thompson during her brief stay at Greco middle school 2023-2024. she was one of the most unprofessional principals I’ve worked with, she drove so many good staff members away that really cared for those kids, and she even tried to prevent me from getting paid 2 weeks AFTER I already worked them because th... read more
