I recently had an appointment with Dr. Carmichael at UTMB Orthopedics regarding my son’s wrist injury, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. My Grandson was born with bilateral club foot. My grandson started seeing Dr. Carmichael just shortly after he was born. Our experience has been less than ideal. While the staff in the office were absolutely fantastic, Dr. Carmichael never once explained the process or even answered our questions for that matter. I recently had a very concerning experience with Dr. Kelly Carmichael. After reviewing my daughter's x-rays, he entered the room, stated she was 'just growing' and 'fine,' and then left without further explanation. There was no introduction or discussion of his findings. He did mention she could put weight on her injury, but she experiences pain when doing so.
