I saw Dr. Hammond for quite a few years after she delivered my daughter and I had a good feeling about her. For years before I'd had high risk HPV and was back and forth with abnormal pap tests. In 2013, I saw her for irregular bleeding and she told me I had a sensitive cervix causing the bleeding but that she'd run a few tests and to watch it because it may be hormonal and could change depending on the time of month. Dr. Hammond was a pleasure to work with and we had her deliver our last 2 children. I'm a Holistic Health Practitioner and she was open minded about our needs. We worked together and now have healthy happy children because of it.
When I was 18 and went to this doctor, they refused to sterilize me or give me an IUD. When I went back after finding out I was pregnant 7 months in, they abandoned me 8 months in after I asked for an IUD and asked for a C-section to be scheduled. Literally, they kicked me out of the practice. I ended up experiencing PTSD thanks to the pregnancy and having to go it alone since I couldn't find a doctor.
