Final edit: I spoke with Baystate’s team, no resolution. Was informed that my telling the doctor I was moving to Boston was interpreted as cancellation of my care. Also being blamed for getting my MRI elsewhere. Horrible, ineffective communication that cost me months of pain. Dr. Benabou has done several surgeries in the past few years. She was up front about what would happen. I like that she discussed all the pro's, and con's of each procedure. I am very thankful I found her, and that she is my specialist.
Dr. Benabou performed a very complex surgery for me in September 2024. She prepared me for the worst possible outcomes and made sure that I understood the risk involved. I ended up getting the best possible result, I am relieved and grateful that I was referred to her by an OB/GYN at my local hospital. I would recommend her to anyone requiring complex OB/GYN care.
She's simply the BEST! Dr. Benabou and her staff were nothing short of AMAZING, and took exceptionally good care of me, before, during and after my surgery! 👍👍👍👍👍I can not forget the staff @ Baystate... absolutely incredible!!! You truly are the BEST!!!
