Dr. Ickes is a great doctor, and a great person. I have been a patient of hers for many years and I would recommend her to anyone. She has helped me manage my problems, learn to be more comfortable with them, and set goals to move forward despite them. While working on the day to day issues is how we spend most of our time, we also talk about long term goals and what needs to be done to reach them. I have had the great privilege of working with Dr. Ickes for several years. Under her care, a lot of healing has occurred. I have grown exponentially in terms of personal growth, maturity, coping with my mental illness much more effectively, and through using spirituality (for me, Christianity) to advance morally and ethically.
