Dr. Aklilu is a rockstar. I first got to know her when my daughter was a very gassy, very uncomfortable newborn who was crying for hours on end, despite us giving her simethicone drops, trying the windi gas passer, you name it. Dr Betel was patient with me and did a great job of explaining what she was doing as she worked on me. She was very giving of her time and helped me understand what the next steps are. I walked out of the first appointment feeling like I was floating on a cloud. Thanks again!
For someone who has never been or was not very educated on what a chiropractor does, Dr. A was awesome! Truly takes the time to explain everything, figure out the issue and work to solve the problem! Highly recommend ( wish she took me insurance)- easy parking and location in old town and a great hands on experience!!
My baby is breech at 36 weeks and I was seen today, the day after my 15 min consult before an upcoming ECV. I feel like we're making real progress towards addressing problem areas, will be coming back many times until I deliver. Was recommended word of mouth by staff at Mind the Mat yoga and I can totally see why.
