I injured my back playing tennis at the beginning of summer, after going to the doctor, getting massages, giving it some rest, my back just was not getting any better. Because of limited motion of my right shoulder and some tingling in the right side of my neck the discomfort when playing tennis was very noticeable. After analysis by Karen and a using a set of specific exercises I no longer have the discomfort. Karen definitely found the way for me to become comfortable again and even get better range of motion in my right shoulder!
I have had RA for 28 years now. Medication has keep the disease under control and manageable. After enduring several months with a shoulder issue that was painful and limited its mobility and use, I decided to attend Karen’s free shoulder workshop. I hurt my shoulder playing tennis. Made it worse by playing frisbee golf. The motion of lifting my hand to drink a glass of water was unbearably painful. I thought I had a rotator cuff tear and would need surgery when after a 6 week rest it was no better.
