My friend was overcharged in fees to the tune of 1/3rd of her total account value for "mananging" her money in investments she did not approve of. She was so upset about this, she cashed out of the investments and created a 100% cash balance with Springer Financial after being told there would be no management fees for a cash account. After all, what the hell would they be managing?
