If you need a surgeon that's on top of the game you just found him. Dr. Sommers I can't say much more other than profection with my removal of my lower right lung lobe cancer nodule surgery.
For more than a year I had a horrible sounding cough, loud and almost animal like. Later finding out that it was TBM or tracheobronchomalacia, on the rare side for an older adult. I was seen by many Drs. and had many tests done, until I was finally sent to Dr Sommers!! He was very good about explaining how the surgery was going to be performed and made me feel comfortable and confident that it was going to be successful. Great doctor!
My daughter had a mass in her chest wall. Just hearing this made me so scared and nervous. Dr. Sommers was so extremely professional and calm when he explained what needed to be done I immediately realized she was in great hands. The surgery was a great success. She has been healing perfectly and the scar is barely noticeable. It hasn't even been 2 months. I highly recommend Dr. Sommers.
