Tried to double charge me one month, instead of just removing the extra amount we went round and round all month, I paid my normal amount for the month. They then told me I now owe more than the original amount they wanted (more than double a standard months price) and proceeded to cancel my coverage. All of this after being a good customer for years. Stay far away.
Never in my life have I encountered a “business” with so little interest in actually doing business. I attempted to add a rider to my homeowners policy for some additional items. I was told a few of the items needed to be professionally apprised. So I got them appraised. Only to be told that I couldn’t have them appraised by “THEM”. But they would offer NO information as to who it was that they thought “should” be appraising them (given they are highly specialized items, that not just anyone would be familiar with).
