I have been a patient of Dr. Howard for years. He has provided great care throughout. Dr. Howard has always provided friendly, professional services and, when called upon, gone above and beyond.
Dr Benaim is a wonderful surgeon! He was caring, kind and considerate. He answered all my questions. When finished with my pre-surgery consult, he looked at my wife, smiled and said “I’ll take good care of your husband.”
Had shock wave treatment for kidney stones at the hospital by Dr. Bailey at Urology Clinics of North Texas. I was informed that they would follow-up in three months, but never heard from them. I recently had an appt with Dr. Galen Howard. He explained that I needed an abdominal CT scan and a cystoscopy. He said those tests often come back normal and a patient would have to take a low dose antibiotic for a while. I asked him only one question. Then he got up and said, “This visit is over” and walked out of the room. I felt as though Dr Pickens did not take my best interest into account instead of him asking me what I wanted to do he's the doctor should have given me better professional detail on my options. Around the conversation of NCCN guidelines that indicated a confirmatory mpMRI is needed or recommended before going to active observation, his indication was it was not necessary. It is widely known that people of color are not given better treatment and or advice for prostate cancer.
