I met Dr. Hood for the first time to discuss surgery and plan. He never examined me or touched me. He stated that he saw the pictures that his nurse showed him, and he would see me in surgery. I’m not sure how I feel about that. It was unusual to plan a breast reconstruction and never physically see me in person, only a photo. After a little chat, there seems to have been some miscommunication on the purpose of the visits. Thanks for the clarification and chat. Looking forward to surgery in September
