I met Dr. Hood for the first time to discuss surgery and plan. He never examined me or touched me. He stated that he saw the pictures that his nurse showed him, and he would see me in surgery. I’m not sure how I feel about that. It was unusual to plan a breast reconstruction and never physically see me in person, only a photo. After a little chat, there seems to have been some miscommunication on the purpose of the visits. Thanks for the clarification and chat. Looking forward to surgery in September
Dr. Hood is fantastic! He did my breast reduction surgery and I love them. He took his time and explained every detail of how everything would work. Listened to my concerns and reassured everything would be great. I would absolutely choose him again and again. Oh and his team is great too! !!
I had my surgery on 10/23/2024. My very first surgery experience was a wonderful. Dr. Hood did a phenomenal job on my panniculectomy. The staff were wonderful and made sure I was good. Anything I needed they gave it to me. I had very little pain, I was up walking the hall the day after my surgery. I cant wait to see my final results. Thank you so much for giving me my confidence again.
I just had my panniculectomy surgery 10/23/2024. Dr. Hood did a phenomenal job. My incisions are healing wonderfully .Thank goodness he was referred to me. I cant wait to see the final results. My stomach is already flat. Thank you so much for giving me my confidence back.
An amazing doctor , when I got diagnosed with cancer I was so devasted being so young . I knew I had to lose part of my feminine identity ,my beauty , and my breast that nourished my babies for a whole year. But dr hood always made sure I knew what he can do as a plastic surgeon , when I got my expanders in i was afraid I was going to have huge scars and flat chest, I was amazed at how round and smooth they looked despite the mastectomy .
