Beautiful stones, incredible jewelry and a totally awesome staff make Kehoe's worth the drive. Jack Kehoe started the business in 1932, the building was built from the remains of the Steamboat Helena which plied the waters of Flathead Lake from 1915 until 1931. He started cutting Montana agate and jade from Canada with diamonds saws he made himself. This is the best place to see. I've been going to this shop since the mid '60's and I'm so glad it's still in business!
If I could add more stars to this review I would! The quality of the jewelry pieces is fantastic, put that along with the knowledge of the staff, the not over inflated prices and the custom work they do (again for a reasonable price) and this is becoming my favorite place to shop! Anytime I go in the store or bring a friend with me I am amazed at what they have to offer and I know when I buy something I never have to doubt the quality. Amazing variety of stones, jewelry, fossils. Obviously a collection of several lifetimes, with a lifetime of experience to explain everything. In a beautiful, historic location. I always take my visitors to this lovely place.
