I booked a stay for July in February. Due a new job and time off the original plan wouldn’t work. So, I proceeded to cancel my stay. I was informed in order to get a refund I would have to pay the remaining balance once they are able to rebook my stay they would refund me… it’s April you have plenty of to rebook the stay!
Beware! I and my daughters had booked here but we’re not able to go because of canceled flight. We Tried to negotiate with them understanding we wouldn’t get all our money back, but we’re hoping for some kind of understanding because this was totally out of our control. They pretty much laughed at us, refused to give anything back! You would hope in these times that places like these would be some kind of flexible or even compassionate to what is going on and not be in it just for the mighty dollar! We recently had planned to stay in one of the properties rented by Kees Travel. Our flight, among thousands of others, got canceled and we were not able to fly down. After multiple calls and emails, we were denied any refund whatsoever. $2500 that we will never get back, out of our control on top of not getting to take our trip. We tried to at least get 50% back or the opportunity to stay at a different time, but this management does not care about customer service at all and all we heard were unkind "no's" along the way. Unfortunately we used Kees for a 4-night stay in Nags Head. The idea was to check out the apartment before doing a longer term rental in summer. We arrived Thurs night, left Monday morning. For the duration of our stay there was no internet, no signal with the TVs, no working elevator, rattling windows and poor shower drainage. We were really disappointed.
