If I could give negative star review I would! I rented a house called “flip flop” for my husbands 40th birthday. It was off season- December 28-Jan 2. We’ve been going to the obx for years and have rented a ton of houses and NEVER had this kind of experience. But it was our first time renting from Kees. Upon arrival we noticed the pictures from the listing were very outdated as the house did not look as pictured. We had 37 people for our 53rd in a row gathering. Kees realty was prompt with the few items that needed attention.
I stayed at the siren song house over the holiday break and the property was subpar at best. Let’s start with that it roaches in the house along with a mouse. The electric kept cutting off and we had to call maintenance to help with the electricity, the fireplace that they couldn’t figure out how to fix along with a jacuzzi that we couldn’t use because it wouldn’t get hot and the jets were messed up originally. Great experience with my family. Minor things needed to be fixed but overall the major things worked properly. Make sure you bring your pots and pans with lids. They already have the K-Cup and Coffee Makers but if you use a Kitchen Aid Mixer, make sure to bring it. Deep kitchen sinks, bring your shampoos, conditioners and soaps. They have plenty real plates, forks, knives and spoons. Elevator worked properly. One washer on the 2nd floor was leaking. Overall experience was perfect. They have Speakers on the 4th floor patios.
We had a wonderful time at Queen Elizabeth. The home had a lot of amenities. We had an awesome day on the beach. We also was able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the scenery. Everyone’s suite was great!!!
