Stayed at fairway to heaven. Definitely enjoyed. It was well equipped and clean!
We booked a Kees Vacation Rental in Nagshead ( Parrothead Inn) and had to move to another of their rentals in Kill Devil Hills ( The Grand Haven ) during the week of 08/11/2025 ). The Parrothead Inn had mold and mildew issues and a dehumidifier in the living room due to ongoing air quality issues when we walked in and it immediately gave my wife a terrible headache. We rented the Surfside Retreat for a family gathering around a wedding, paying over $17,000 for the week, and our experience was extremely disappointing. I feel compelled to share this review so others are aware of what to expect. The most serious issue was the lack of air conditioning in the main floor (kitchen, living area, and master bedroom). I would have given a minus 1, but 1 is the lowest number available. We rented the Surfside Retreat for a family gathering around a wedding, paying over $17,000 for the week, and our experience was abysmal. My mother and I stayed here along with 4 children and were less than satisfied with our time at this rental location. We got evacuated from a previous house so when we got there we did have a late check in. The lady on the phone Diane, was rude and short and blatantly ignored me when I asked questions. We received no welcome packet so we had no access to wifi, when we called Diane back she said we would receive a message or a phone call Monday morning providing us with the password or we could “search for the router”.
