I went in for steroid injections. Medically speaking I have to assume that everything was 100% - so no complaints there. The people I met were very kind. It was odd to me that I was laid face down on the treatment table for injections to my neck. I am not sure I ever saw who did the injections - The person who brought me in asked me to loosen my belt with no explanation. I asked a second person why and they laughed and said "you'll find out". I appreciate Dr. Kumar and his team so much! In particular, Kari was so incredibly kind and helped to fit me into Dr. Kumar’s schedule before the holidays. I am also grateful for Dr. Kumar’s expertise and straightforward guidance regarding my back issue. I’ve been to several pain mgmt providers… this is where you want to come!
I would give him Zero stars if I could. I went to this pain doctor over the course of 6 months where he gave me cortisone injections for sciatic pain. On every visit he was dismissive of the lesions on my spine where he said "nothing to worry about, I see these lesions all the time and they are usually benign " He was even got mad at his friend Sweet retiring spine surgeon DR Jamison Glenn for suggesting I see an oncologist .
