AdaptHealth just billed me in April 2026, and again in May, more than $1700 for a hospital bed they picked up in August of 2025. This, after refunding the September payment they took because the bed was picked up before the September billing period. Adapt health New England offers poor communication. One central company with many departments and they don't talk to each other or send you in dept circles. Text notifications are one size fits all with no details of dept. specific need, leaving you without supplies from their lack of communication. During the admission process, you have their full attention. You're assigned a RT, with the promise of full support. Since becoming Adapt Health it has been nothing but a nightmare, just transferred around and being on hold all the time. Needing my damn supplies for my medically complex kiddo. What a joke.. Will be looking for a new DME and recommending Anthem drop this company as a DME.
Don't use Keene Medical/Adapt Health for your supplies! Keene Medical (Adapt Health) shipped an order of medical supplies to me in error 3 months after I canceled my service with them because I changed suppliers. I immediately shipped the supplies back to their warehouse, with UPS tracking confirmation. Keene Medical still billed my insurance and collected payment for supplies that I do not have. I have now spent over 2 months trying to get Keene Medical to retract the claim and issue a refund to my insurance company so I ca... read more
