I never truly understood why a person would be a Funeral Director, but I do know now. Kevin and his staff care so deeply about those they meet during the saddest time in their lives. My dad passed away on june 3rd and Kevin k funeral home was a good funeral home I went to New life Baptist church and pastor Curtis and his friend took care of My dad so I thank pastor Curtis and Kevin k kearney funeral home for taking care of my dad
We unfortunately had to bury a family member recently. I could not have asked for a better experience. Tim was phenomenal! I mean top of the line excellent. He treated my family and I with the upmost respect from day one ! Super accommodating. The funeral home is beautiful, well maintained and peaceful. Dear Kevin: I am writing you to bring to your attention writing this phrase in your obituaries as they appear in the Scranton Times, "Of the Catholic faith". It is poor sentence structure. Why not write, She/He was a catholic and a member of a particular church. It appears the same way in Thomas Kearney's obituaries too. I have noticed this in many obituaries for both Kearney Funeral Homes. It is just an observation on my part. Frank Koczwara
