I had my generator installed by a local company at my house. During the last power outage, the generator went into the alarm "overload. " I called the installers and to my surprise they said that they do not do service repairs in warranty. I called KDE Electric and they immediately came and solved the issue with my generator. Now I have an annual maintenance with KDE Electric and the generator is remotely monitored by KDE Electric via Wi-Fi.
When I first had my 22kw LPG Generac whole house generator installed in 2024, I checked out this company based on the initial reviews and its slick web site to provide the on-going maintenance. After the preliminary site inspection, we signed a contract, and he provided some recommended corrections that should be made. Extremely rude owner. I called him for a quote and he said he would stop by tonight to look at my generator. He was Extremely rude in telling me that I hadn't serviced it and should have when I nicely asked if he can just give me a ballpark figure he very rudely raised his voice and belittled me, I told him he can say it in a nice tone. I heard about KDE through a Google search and contacted them about getting a standby generator for our remote cabin in WV. Emil responded and set up a visit to check out my location, and provide an estimate, in a very timely manner. Due to the geography at my location being mostly rock, it would be a tricky install.
