Evergy is a terrible company. Has terrible service for its customers, but is the only eletric company in the Warrensburg area that provides electricity to the citizens. Calling their main number provided, before getting in contact with a representative, you will be on hold from anywhere between 30 minutes to a few hours. Although these reviews do not help anyone out personally, maybe it will change the way Evergy as a company operates.
My bill said I have to the end of the day to make my payment. 11am I have a worker at my door about to shut me off. How is that right? What if I was at work til 2,3,4 or 5 and planned on paying when I got off work. 🤔

I also got an email stating my electric was on back on June 4th, it is not. Still waiting to get an electric box set on our land so we can have our electrician lay our line so when our new modular is delivered we will have electric. I too was told I would get a call in 3-5 days back on June 4th. Nothing. I call every week, they send it to " the processing team" and nothing. Very unhappy!
This company doesn't return phone calls in a timely manner, they say 3 to 5 business days and it may be 10 days or more. They do not send out engineers or planners to a site as needed or requested, we have been trying to get some one out for over a month now but they are not doing their job. And no one has come out or called to schedule to come out. They do not care about their customers. I wish I could get a different company for my electric service.
