Long story short Dr. Flum and/or his nursing staff are bordering on negligent with the lack of communication available to his patients. Got a phone call saying they’d “just received” a fax regarding his refill, when it was almost 3 weeks ago now that we had to physically go into the office in order to get into contact with anyone. Their practice is too big and they've lost control of how to run a safe medical practice. If you can get an appt with the right doctor (decided by an inexperienced hired phone operator that guesses who out of 30 doctors you should see) then wait 2 months; I hope you get the right diagnosis. This happened to my mother who ended up having to be rushed in for an emergency surgery Christmas eve. KC Urology Care is not a very professional outfit they do not TCB very good at all. I had an appointment for a biopsy to check for possible prostrate cancer scheduled with Dr Gerald Park for Friday May 24 at 1:30 pm at their Independence location, and Dr Park never showed up by 2 pm, his staff apologized to a full waiting room of upset and angry looking people waiting for their appointments with Dr Park, and said he was still stuck in a morning surgery that was running late.
