Efficient, pleasant and careful are the words I’d use to describe my experience with KC Tax. They were very helpful and friendly in working through some tax issues I’d experienced. I would highly recommend them to small businesses.
Worst place to get your taxes done. Avoid this place at ALL cost. Anne entered donation amounts and I didnt check where she got it from. After I received CRA letter to respond and asked her - she told me some BS. I had to go to another accounting firm in Newmarket to fix this COSTLY mistake.
Paid early expecting peace of mind, yet deadlines still slipped, mileage logs vanished, and I ended up on hold for forty minutes just to learn my remittance was misapplied. Anne apologized and reduced the invoice slightly, but the interest CRA charged me and the time lost sorting it out outweighed any discount
Cheap fee, costly errors and stressful follow-ups
Would not recommend this place especially if you're a new business owner. They don't do their work on time. You always have to follow up over and over again to get your taxes filed on time. Their bookkeeper was clueless about my business (I guess no communication within the team?) and was crunching numbers all wrong which lead to more work for me but at the end, I still had to pay Anne which was very disappointing.
