We contacted KB Pools because we purchased a beautiful home in Spanish Oaks that had an aging, less than sexy pool and an unusable Cedar Forest on a seriously sloped backyard. Bo Barnett came over and after only a few minutes of talking it became obvious that Bo is a serious artist. ** I'm not getting into a back and forth w/Bo on here. Per him “the first step is to diagnose the exact cause and location of the leak”. Our pool has been leaking for 24 months & Bo hasn’t done what he says is the first step? Yet he’s “prepared to help”? Okay... He never offered to send a leak detection company until we got to the point of mediation being scheduled, even though we’ve asked for one previously. Terrible communication and project management of the build of our pool and now with the cracks and leaks. We have had ongoing cracks that are over a foot deep in our spa and now spreading into the pool. We paid $3000 out our own pocket to replaster the spa and with 3 months the cracks returned. Upon further testing and coring our spa and pool the cracks extend deep beyond just a cosmetic defect like Bo claims. The test results indicate normal concrete so it appears to be a workmanship issue as no rebar was used in the seats.... read more
