Great, fresh fish. Wait time was super long on Saturday, though.
Really good hand rolls. Hot, crispy, salty seaweed and super soft, tender rice that almost melts in your mouth and does not taste sticky at all. The fish is also seriously high quality. Their toro is ridiculous, incredibly marbled, buttery, and rich. Overall great quality, pop and contrast. The one thing they get wrong is the rice to fish ratio. They are way too light on the fish. Wonderful little slice of Japan in the city. It’s super quick, fresh and tasty. You grab a seat at the bar and order as many hand rolls as you like. I really enjoyed the toro and the yellowtail. I wish I had tried the salmon. I didn’t love the sauce on the baby scallops but everything else was 10/10. And for under $30, a steal.
It was catastrophic,bad experience.
Crazy eating times at this location. They only have 2 ppl making the rolls.
