This is a lovely place to paddle. My travel buddy and I paddled the perimeter of the lagoon. We had a picnic on the dunes and took a peek at the beach on the ocean side. Heads up that beach is really dangerous and not for swimming. The lagoon is perfect for a dip if you need one. I recommend a sun hat because it is very bright and beautiful. What a great time kayaking with Sawyer as the guide! While there weren’t a lot of wild animals out the morning of the kayak, it was still so worth it. Sawyer share a lot of great information with enthusiasm and depth of knowledge. The lagoon is gorgeous and even more so with the fog. A fantastic side trip while visiting the Redwoods 🌲
