Really enjoyed the course and would recommend taking it
May 31st, 2026 I took the rolling clinic which was awesome. I took this course because I bought my friends kids to take their Level 1 at the same time. They had a great time as well! I already had my L1 & L2. Both from Kayak Ontario. Looking forward to the L3 Prep at the end of June. Amazing company.
Did not have a good time. I had just dealt with my dad almost dying and did not acquire a kayak. When I inquired I was told that it would be no problem, they had plenty of kayaks. When I got there, they did not have a kayak for me. I was forced to use a kayak from another class mate that was less than ideal. Then on top of that I was embarrassed in front of everyone by the instructor, saying that during Covid everyone had time to prepare and now no one is. My husband and I joined the level one group in Rondeau Bay. Aaron instructed the course and it was fabulous. It was so much more than I expected, and I can’t wait to go back for more. Between the safety tips, paddling skills, and navigation tips this course provides a solid foundation that any paddler could benefit from.
