Kayak Hanalei offers river/ocean snorkel kayak tours as well as rentals of kayaks and stand up paddle boards. Reservations are needed for tours only. RENTALS are provided on a first come first served basis but with our large fleet of equipment we will have rentals available for you upon your arrival. NO RESERVATIONS. Such a great tour. Amazing guides. Great paddle and saw tons of fish snorkeling.
10/10 recommend. Quick and efficient. Kayaking the Hanalei River is peaceful and fun! We took the river route to the right and were out about 2-2.5 hours. Private dock is a bonus when renting a car. Only my second time kayaking and felt comfortable the whole way.
Really easy renting kayaks. No reservations, just show up. Signing waivers, paying, and getting the gear was super fast. They have a dock you can launch out of too so no need to transport the kayaks. We paddled up the river and then also paddled out to Hanalei bay. If you only have time for one direction, I’d recommend paddling out into Hanalei bay where you’ll get an amazing view of the mountains and shoreline.
You can not come back and get out of your kayak, that will end your day
My family and I loved coming here! Super friendly and well equipped staff, ready to literally lend a hand when boarding your kayak/paddle board. The views were stunning going up and down the river. Don't hesitate to experience this! The kayaks also have enough room for a dry bag and a small cooler, so you can pack a lunch, drinks and snacks.
