Kayak Hanalei offers river/ocean snorkel kayak tours as well as rentals of kayaks and stand up paddle boards. Reservations are needed for tours only. RENTALS are provided on a first come first served basis but with our large fleet of equipment we will have rentals available for you upon your arrival. NO RESERVATIONS. We were kayaking and our kayak was sinking. We had kids in our group and they would not let us pull out on their property. Truely bad humans.
My eldest fell in the water and flipped over twice. We wanted to change the configuration so we could put a stronger paddler in her boat and they refused. Told us that it was our fault. So instead of being accommodating or understanding of a traumatized young woman who had just fallen in twice, the basically said “too bad, you already paid”. Very disappointing. Had to basically cut our kayaking short and wasted 2 payments to try to tow her back against the current. Just shameful customer service.
Great guides, experience and snorkeling!
We had a great experience with Kayak Hanalei. We chose the kayak/snorkel tour, which was a good way to experience both the river and the ocean. Gabe was a great guide, especially when it came to the snorkeling portion. He knew exactly where to go to see all the marine life. Booking was easy, prices were reasonable, and staff were friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
We had a good time and the snorkeling was excellent. Gabe was a very patient, kind and very knowledgeable guide. He was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it!!
