Over all it was fine. I was surprised there wasnt a storefront but rather we met at a Conoco station. I was hoping there would be some waterproof gear for sale. We picked the Table Rock Lake float. The launch site was close and I was happy I was able to take my car. Downside, it was windy and rough and a big open cove that was pretty but not very interesting. I wish we had picked the Taneycomo float. John the kayak handler was friendly and helpful. I should have researched this a little bit more.

We did the Taneycomo float and it was wonderful! We only needed to paddle to steer on occasion and at the end to get out at the dock. It was a super easy experience all around. The hardest part was pulling my kayak to and from the water, but it has a handle on one end and a wheel on the other so it wasn’t bad. It’s a very short van ride to the drop off point from the station and a slightly longer ride back from the pickup point, but still pretty quick. This was the best priced most fun outing we did while on vacation ! Don’t think twice on this one taneycomo is so beautiful you won’t regret it!

This was a great experience! The vans were clean, the equipment in great shape, the tour was right on time and the guide was very helpful with directions.
