Great place with great people
I called and asked the receptionist for someone with experience cutting long, curly hair. She assured me that all the stylists at Kay Marie’s have lots of experience with all hair types, so we scheduled an appointment. As mom, I didn’t feel very welcome at the appointment — there was no place for me to sit near her during her cut, and I had to approach the chair myself. The stylist did not listen to what I had told her about how my previous stylist did my perms. My previous stylist did my perms for over 40 years, so I really liked her and how she did my perms (she is not doing hair appts anymore because of her age). I will not be returning to this salon, just thankful my hair will grow and I will find someone who will listen and understand.
