I went to Kay recently to have my husbands necklace repaired. I hadn’t purchased the protection plan so I was expecting to have to pay a large amount. They ended up letting me purchase the protection plan that day. So I only paid for the plan, not the repair. Fast forward, I received a text stating that the necklace was ready to be picked up. On July 3, I went in and ordered a ring that I had found online. I was hoping the ring would’ve been in the store, but it wasn’t. I did not get the associates name that ended up helping me. When I walked into the store two ladies were sitting behind the counter. Neither one of them got up to help us, but shouted across the store, “Do you need help?” I said yes, but still neither one got up. Me and my fiancé bought engagement rings. Mine was $1500 and when I got in the pool, it disintegrated when he went back, they asked him for $200 for another ring. I still have the ring today. I went back to exchange it and they said that the warranty was over and they couldn’t do anything…. My ring was $800….. I don’t recommend buying from this place. When I went to the jewelry store to pawn my ring, they offered me $50 for it.
I presented on an afternoon when there were only 2 people working one of whom was obviously being trained. There was a person in line in front of and behind me waiting our turns when another customer came in very vocal asking for an associate by name, who was not working that day. And very adamant that they were in a big hurry and needed immediate assistance.
