Don't do it! – Kay furniture is NOT selling furniture for the customer, they only care about the money NOT the customer. This is not the place to go. They are only interested in GOING out of business.. We bought a new living room set, to find out we got the floor model with a bad cushion and no recorse basically SOL. We also bought a floor lamp that was brought out and set up broken, we were told to Jimmie it up to keep it from bumping the end table. DO NOT GET TAKEN HERE – We purchased a large set furniture here in September,2011. We were convinced to do so by the salesperson who got us to agree to have them pick up a next-to-new Lazyboy sofa for consignment. They even set the price for the used piece, and was convincing that this was the best way to "make room" for the new furniture. We have since found out that they held an auction in November, and sold our couch without paying us for it. Avoid this place. – My husband and I recently moved to Smithville and needed some furniture so we went to shop at Kay's Furniture. Immediately we were approached by a saleswoman like a used cars salesman. Even though we informed her that we wanted to look around she continued to follow us from a distance. After finding a nice furniture set, we asked the sales lady for the price. We noticed that there were no prices on any of the furniture. We shopped forever for the right sofa nad love seat in Kansas City. We couldn't find the exact fabric unless I specai ordered and that company from Omaha has higher than heck prices for special orders. Not Kay Furniture, we got the same sofa with the special order fabric at a lower cost that the so called competition. We are now loyal cuistomers of Kay's.

I sent an email to ask for a quote on a leather couch,love seat and oversized chair. They beat NFM and other co's prices by hundreds. The delivery was professional and also on time. I will shop here again.
