I arrived at this ER today around 11:30am because I was having symptoms that my primary doctor thinks may be sepsis after my gallbladder removal surgery that I had done there about a month ago, and honestly my experience has been consistently disappointing. My first visit before surgery was already a bad experience. The ER nurses seemed more focused on chatting about their day than patient care. This was one of the worst hospital experiences I’ve ever had. I spent nearly 10 hours waiting in the ER, surrounded by an overwhelming number of patients and very little communication about delays. When I was finally taken to a room to see a doctor, the bed had clearly not been cleaned from the previous patient, which was extremely concerning and unacceptable. Was at the emergency room for 7 hours today with 3 children — several times for long durations there was no place to sit with a little space from other patients. We were able to wait outside in the beginning, that was very helpful with kids, but was not an option later. I was told if I don’t come to his name called then I would be taken off the schedule when we were waiting for results. CEO Mertz and Board of Directors. Read these free reviews and feedback. Wait times are unacceptable. I watch sick patients and kids wait for hours. New Emer reno suppose to ease wait times. You have 73 rooms. Add more medical staff at night if you have to increase capacity. Keep Urgent Care clinics open until midnight. Etc etc. etc. Its not rocket science.
