I dream about their shrimp dumplings! I live about 40 min away in New Haven and drive down just to go here. Every fish I have tried I have loved. Best place in Westport.
Another one bites the dust. Used to be my favorite restaurant - quality food and fun atmosphere. However, in the last few months the quality has eroded to a level below PF Changs. To make matters worse, restaurant is full of hipsters riding the tail end of Kawa Ni’s mediocre rise to influencer hot spot. And the staff is as condescending as their Nouveau riche patrons.
20% service charge automatically added to bill for party of any size. No explanation as to why they don't just raise their menu prices by 20%. This creates complacency and poor service from the wait staff since they're guaranteed a tip before service begins. And they have the arrogance to allude to "additional tip" on their website. All of this on top of a absurdly high prices for what you get. Absolutely disgusting business practices.
The food was great, the drinks were fantastic, our server Nancy made the whole experience extra special!
