For one she thinks she knows everything sadly… she doesn’t listen to the patient i feel like! I would suggest going somewhere else … if you want an actual dr to listen to you! That’s why her ratings are so low. Run AWAY while you CAN!!!!

Dr. Allem is the first rheumatologist that I’ve had experience with, and unfortunately her care was disappointing. Once I received a diagnosis, my autoimmune condition was minimized and she wouldn’t prescribe me medication or devise a treatment plan… which is critical for my health. I was told “I’ll see you in another 6 months” and that’s about it, so I’m switching to another rheumatologist. I saw Dr Allem a few times. Today I called and asked why my RX for pilocarpine was not renewed. I was told I had not seen her in over a year. The next available appointment wasn’t until the end of the month. She denied renewing the RX until I saw her. My pharmacy had reached out several times in the past month and today I found out renewal was denied. No one from the doctors office reached out to me to explain why it was denied.
