I ended up in the emergency room, Dr. Paramanathan was on call that evening. Seems I have a rare blood disorder, and Dr. Paramanathan will be treating me the rest of my life. She was instrumental in preventing a major stroke and has helped me to maintain a healthy platelet count, which is far more important than I realized. I would highly recommend Dr. Paramanathan.
