I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Kavita Shah Patel. I scheduled an appointment because I had concerns about lumps on my chest and wanted an in person evaluation, but I was directed to telehealth because of scheduling availability. During both of my video appointments, I experienced very long wait times before the doctor joined the visit. During the second appointment, I expressed my concerns about waiting over an hour. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Dr Patel is personal and listens attentively to any concerns. I never feel rushed and very valued as an individual after every visit. I would recommend this office to anyone.
Dr. Kavita Shah is truly one of the best doctors I have ever met. She listens with patience and calm attention, takes the time to fully understand concerns, and never makes you feel rushed. I moved to Houston a year ago from Northern VA and was in need of a PCP. I have BCBS of Texas and had chosen a couple of other PCP's and then read reviews that weren't so great.
