I met with Dr. Patel regarding my abnormal heart rhythm. Dr. Patel explained to me what my heart was doing and gave me three options, two involving medication, to correct the issue. Dr. Patel explained the corrective surgery I would undergo in lieu of medication. Dr. Patel is the best but expect to wait at least an hour past your apptointment time.
Dr. Patel's advice to stop my medication resulted in an ER visit. I have a history of SVT and had a previous ablation for it. However, I told her I was still experiencing SVT and showed her evidence of this from my Apple Watch. She dismissed me, saying this is not a medical device, which I understood. However, she condescendingly told me I did not need ANY treatment and could stop my medication immediately. She told me "I would suggest following up with your PCP about anxiety."
