Summer is incredibly good at this whole prosthetic/orthotics thing! She's absolutely a perfectionist and will not stop until she gets you comfortable. It's really amazing to watch her work. She is one of the smartest people I have ever met and it's a blessing to have her as my prosthetist. And if she becomes yours, you will not regret it!!!
Learning to function with one leg in a two legged world is extremely difficult. A major issue is finding a prosthetician who can provide a prosthetic that actually fits and is comfortable to wear. This business is an absolute life-saver. My sister needed to have her prosthetic leg adjusted and made to work properly, as she had suffered with an ill-fitting device for so long while seeing other clinics that do this same service.
