Dr. Marwaha was very kind and thorough, she answered my many questions to the best of her ability. However, at the time I saw her, she did not have enough knowledge to provide adequate medical care to LGBTQIA+ patients and in fact perpetuated some common and harmful myths about them during our appointment. If she were able to take a course, or preferably several about supporting this population, I would probably return to her for care because I did feel heard and supported by her besides that.
First visit with Dr. Marwaha on 2/9/2023. Such a great appointment! Dr. Marwaha is thorough and very knowledgeable. She immediately put me and my wife at ease. She took her time covering our lab results, medical history and medications. She is very easy to talk to and asked repeatedly if we had any questions or concerns. I'm actually looking forward to the next appointment with her. So glad BSW finally got an endocrinologist in Buda.
