I started coming here a year ago. I was new in town, had no idea what kava or kratom leaf tea even was. What I did pick up on immediately was how great the staff was, and the other patrons were an amazing group of people that you could talk to for hours and have amazing conversations with. i became great friends with a good number of them actually. This bar has the most accepting community and best kava in town! It was an instant favorite. Good service and vibes all day!
I stopped by Kavasutra tonight, and the "Open" sign was lit. When I walked in, the place was full, and everyone was drinking tea. Then, two staff members—Jack and Adonis—approached my wife and me to tell us we couldn't enter because they were in the middle of cleaning and tidying up. I mean, how does that make any sense?
