Corporate please fire Antoine. I left my 200 dollar controller at Kavasutra for a weekly smashbros tournament for a few days. Antoine the manager threw it out because “He couldnt get a hold of me” despite having my number and social medias. He never reached out to me. He called me a shit customer and laughs it off like it’s a joke. I’ve shown nothing but kindness to him. Truly the worst experience and unprofessional for him to treat me this way. I will not be coming back to Kavasutra until he gets terminated.
I wanted to like this place, but it just wasn’t the right atmosphere for me. The space was very dark, and the heavy metal music made it feel more intense than relaxing. When I go to a kava bar, I’m usually looking for a calmer, more welcoming environment where you can unwind and have a conversation, and this didn’t really offer that. The prices also felt just a touch high for the overall experience. It may appeal to a specific crowd, but it wasn’t a fit for what I was looking for.
