The receptionist was extremely rude. I was searching for information for my boyfriend in regards to insurance. She was saying something and I was informing her of the information I needed to complete the form. She started getting rude and saying this is going to take time because she has to go through paper files. All I asked was if they hadn't converted all their paper files to computers (as every other doctor I know of has), she replies with "I'm going to hang up soon." Like what? Dr Kavalsky has been my family doctor since 1985. Over the years of getting to know each other. He has been very supportive and very understanding. He is by far one of the best old-school doctors around. He has always made me feel comfortable. Although he has struggled from time to time finding a receptionist, they have always seem to squeeze me in for an appointment almost the very next day. as far as wait times in the office every office every doctor every where you go. After 30 years in the health care arena I know what a knowledgable, caring and responsive provider looks like. Dr. Kavalsky and his team fit the bill.
Dr K has been my family doctor for many years. Even after moving out of province and country he always has welcomed me and my growing family back upon our return to Ontario. He is attentive and patient with us. There are waits at every office no matter what you are going to so you need to deal plan accordingly.
1. Showed up for an appointment and was asked if I was there for my 3 month diabetes checkup. Ummm you need to tell me I'm diabetic first. 2. I was having issues with a discharge. Went several times over 18 months and he sent me to obgyn. The first question they asked was if I was treated for ..... Nope!!! Couldn't even read the test results. 3. I had an anxiety attack in his office and he dropped me as a patient. I wouldn't even take my dog to him .... If I had one. Clearly all the 5 star ratings have never had a serious he... read more
