Apartments visually appealing. Half the apartments here are for HUD and the other half are slowly pricing out the average person. Dogs bark uncontrollably without repercussion early in the morning and at night like clock work. Stray Cat and dog poop problem on the yards is common. Pool/ gym are nice but pool can be found closed at inconvenient times, dirty, or packed with all of the kids here. I am looking to lease an apt. When you call them, no one answers. When someone does answer, they immediately hang up. Does anyone have any good experiences calling them and talking to someone?
I cannot speak highly enough about how wonderful the staff here at Kaulana Mahina is. My leasing agent was Alisha and she was so encouraging & supportive in helping me to secure my first very own apartment. The entire staff continues to impress me with their commitment to fostering a community here that is so enjoyable to be a part of. Lived here from April 2024-January 2026, and My experience is as follows. Property cleanliness 7/10 Property Staff 10/10 Property amenities 4/10 (it would be higher if the pool wasn't right next to the road, and the fitness center was bigger) Property quietness 3/10 (Coqui frogs will keep you up all night even with your windows shut. The kids running around playing in the parking lots, playground and pool area echoes through all the apartments.
