My wife and I were visiting the island on vacation when we had an unexpected need to visit the emergency room. After a fall at the top of Waimea Canyon Lookout, my wife suffered a pretty bad knee gash. From the moment we arrived, the staff were prompt, responsive, helpful, and incredibly friendly. Great experience at the emergency room . All staff, nurses and doctor were amazing and worked quickly to fix my fractured leg after a fall in Waimea canyon during Thanksgiving week and followed up to ensure I was not in pain while I waited to see a surgeon.

We were there on vacation from FL I had some stomach issues before we left for kauai. Ended up here at 2:30 a m and greeted by two nurses who were efficient and concerned. Dr. David Gregarious was the ER Dr. that morning and the most caring, concerned ER Dr. we have met. He treated me for what he was able to, did offer alternatives as well. The most amazing thing was he called me 4 days later while we were still in Kauai to see how I was feeling and offer some suggestions. That is the most caring gesture. Wonderful employees. Took a totally scared old woman and did all the necessary tests to confirm she wasn't having a heart attack. Even though it ended up being something minor they still treated me as a VIP!
